This is a very nice piece of North Carolina Pottery marked with Owens Pottery RT. 2 Seargrove NC 27341. It has a wonderful gray glaze over red earthenware clay. In the center of the pie plate there is a cobalt blue heart. Also in this section is a matching batter bowl for you to consder purchasing as a match to this pie plate. They are sold separetly.
