Ash Glaze Art Pottery Teapot with Turtle Motif

Ash glaze art pottery with fabulous unique shape showing artists range and imagination. This large teapot has a whimsical look and feel. It has a turtle or tortoise motif with the body of the teapot being the turtle's back and the underside has an under shell design. This piece also crosses over to be an absolutely wonderful piece of art pottery that needs to be displayed for people to see and talk about. The bottom has two feet in the back and a larger foot in the front to make this piece sit uniquely. Stands 7-1/2 inches tall including the handle. 10 inches end to end excluding the handle. Two small hearts are pressed into the clay with finger pinched accents where the handle is attached to the body. Do not hesitate to ask quesitons.
